Custom spreadsheet

Postby pegasuspaul » Thu Jan 21, 2016 12:33 pm

Hi all.

I am looking at the possibility of having a spreadsheet designed for my personal use with BA.

All of my betting is on horse racing, but as well as the win and place markets I also use 3TBP and 4TBP. A lot of my bets are dutch bets,

Things I need to be able to specify are:
The STAKE amount (particularly when dutching) as a percentage of account balance
The minimum odds to take for either an individual bet or the combined odds in the case of a dutch bet
Bet placement time

The dutch part is potentially complicated as I need to be able to specify the STAKE and have the sheet calculate the split between however many horses are in the bet (never more than 5)

I will need 6 sheets in the workbook all able to bet any of the above options, and a log sheet to record bets placed and result along with profit and loss.

There are probably other things I haven't thought of that would be useful, and I am open to suggestions.

Best regards

Paul

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
