Apologies. I can't believe how many issues you've found in the last few days that nobody else has. It's the full stream setting. It works without full stream. When full stream is ticked you only get price refreshes when the prices have changed. When it is not ticked you will get a refresh every second. The data is only provided at one second intervals so you will not miss any prices that are provided in the historical data.

I will fix it to work with the full stream setting. I don't think most people use this setting with market replay.

Is there a prize if I find something else! Jokes. The irony is I'm usually slow to adopt major changes on the basis that it gives time for everyone to else to iron out the kinks. I'll turn off the full stream it's just on by default.

Actually there is one other thing. I don't think its a bug just something that wold be helpful. If I load a days racing and use the Bet Results sheet to record the results, when the last race for the day is finished the bet result sheet is not updated - As is the norm with live i think - you need to move to a new race? The difference is that there wont be anther race to load up, so I'm having to add a later unrelated market (say a later dog race) to have the results sheet updated. Any chance this can be changed?

Yes. I'll make sure it's included with the fix for full stream.

I feel I have to add sorry to the start of each of these now.
The function that moves the market on to the next race after the previous one has closed. I set it to 1min after 1min. I've loaded two consecutive days worth of markets. It works fine during each day, but after the last race on the first day is closed, it does not jump to a minute before the first race on day 2. Again not sure if this is intended to work this way or not.

Full stream is off. All other settings as per the file I sent the other day.

Thanks

Did you at any point move the slider manually? It is intentional that this feature is suspended if you move the slider manually until you press the stop button and restart the timeline. I've just tested it and it seems ok. Maybe another video would help.

Argh, that's the reason. Was about to say it was not working at all now but that would be the reason as yes I've moved it manually.

I will be releasing an update tomorrow that will update the results after the last market is closed. In the meantime you can use -6 in cell Q2 instead of adding another market.

Results sheet should now automatically update when market closed.

Hi Gary

I found another odd scenario. Where using a LAYSP trigger the trigger is firing in play. I've sent a video showing it happening.

Thanks

That shouldn't happen. I will fix it.

Thanks. Any chance abandoned meetings can also be removed from the historical list, or flagged on the download sheet as being abandoned?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
