Happy News....

Postby MarkRussell » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:30 pm

Gary is now the proud father of a healthy baby boy. :D

Born this morning at 9:37 weighing in at 7lb 8oz.

This is Gary's first child so he has a bit of learning curve ahead of him, so please bear with him over the next few days as he won't be answering any Betting Assistant queries and will be taking some well deserved paternity leave.

I'm sure like me you wish him and his partner all the best.

So big congratulations to Gary and Fiona.

Mark

Congratulations Gary. As Captains sensibly says, make the most of those early years, because they do indeed soon pass by, and that includes taking some paternity leave!

You're not wrong about the sleepless nights
Fiona was allowed home yesterday and I am now a zombie.

That's the new way Gary :)
The good thing for us is that you can reply to our request all the time

The best advice though is Captain's
make the most of those early years they soon pass by

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
