In Running - Is There A Way To Lay Only Some Of The Horses?

Postby Poppydog » Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:04 pm

To explain better:

I'd like to sort of 'One Click' a proportion of the runners straight after the Off, for In Running.

For example:

A 12 horse H'cap with the prices ranging from say 3s to 100s

However, I only want to lay all the horses that were averaging, before the off, 16/1 or over at, say, 10s - possibly around 2/3s of the field.
Obviously, if I put 10s for the whole field, straight after the off, the shorter priced horses will be immediately taken.

Is there a way to 'block lay' some of the outsiders at 10s in a quick way, at the Unsuspend, without having to lay each one individually?

Again, this is only for In Running.
Thanks and apologies if this seems confusing or stupid.

Click (Options) on the right hand side of the screen underneath where 'My Bets' is displayed. Tick 'Use my bets when placing new bets'. Make sure 'Verify bets' is ticked then you can set up your bets ready to place in one go in much the same way as you do on Betfair's website.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
