betdaq starting price question

Postby jumpsfan » Wed Jul 18, 2018 8:49 pm

does anyone have any experience with the betdaq starting price ?

if you could please tell me if i will have any problems backing horses on betdaq at SP , for £20 or so ( premium charge payer here so can't use betfair ).

will the price be very similar to betfairs and will i get it all matched ?

at odds upto 100

thanks

It has been pretty good on the whole. The odd race where it doesn't match, but becoming fewer. Prices vary with BF, but not hugely so. I think they would probably even out to the same over time. Given that they are both working to a 100% book they should.

Given its 2% across the board certainly worth utilizing.

It really depends on the race and liquidity and where in the book you are trying to get matched. It probably was 6 months ago, but i would say it was closer to once a month now.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
