I may have open positions but that should not be too much of a problem. The issue is the balance is showing zero and I don't know if the bot has gone mad and lost the lot or if it is just betfair, In the past it has happened that the bot bet the lot but I was in time to fix the damage, I have also had betfair go down and show a zero balance and for everything to be OK when it came back. Glad I have a good strong heart coz I nearly passed out when I saw the zero balance. The betting bank is money I can afford to lose but it would take a long time to build it back up to current levels and I definitely don't want to lose two grand for no good reason - still rattling - best regards Paul

Hi Paul

Same issue with zero balance here so guess (and hope) its Betfair and not the bot.

Regards

Hi All - Betfair is back and all in all for me at least a profitable day but it could just as easy have been disastrous. Also I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the zero balance. Why show a zero balance, would a n/a (not available) have been much better and avoided extreme distress to a lot of people. As far as I can see the bookies, including Betfair, ride rough-shod over their customers with restricted accounts, closed accounts and zero information; not to mention a total lack of accountability -sorry for the rant, I just get so annoyed with been taken for a total mug- best regards Paul

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
