Laying in advance

Postby GRUSSZOOM » Sun Mar 04, 2018 3:14 am

Let's say you had 20 greyhounds that you wanted to lay over the next 4 hours but you won't be at your computer during that period. You want to lay them at SP prices. You want to put all your bets on at the same time. I wondered if this program or just Betfair page will allow you to do this ?

Both the program and betfair site allow you to lay at SP any time during the day. If by the same time you mean the exact same time, no, you'll have to enter each market on the site or via the program ad do each separately.

On the program there's a middle column on the grid saying Projected SP, clicking that column brings up the option to lay or back at SP depending which side of the box you click. If it's not showing on your grid you can select it from the grid options in preferences.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
