UK Greyhound QPL

Postby Deestar » Wed Apr 11, 2018 10:11 am

Hi,

Just updated to the latest version 1.3.0.38y13b and assumed that the QPL would split the UK Greyhounds between TRP, RPGTV and SIS, but it seems to only give All, BAGS (TRP & RPTV) , RPTV. So no option in the QPL to show the SIS markets separately. Am i missing something here? Seems like a waste of a change. The races are indexed by TRP/SIS/RPTV why not the QPL?

Thanks

Hi,

When Betfair made this change to the Market structure we changed the new version to still pull out what we had before, i.e. all, bags, televised as this is what users were expecting to see.

We would need to make a further change to pull out the markets for these specific categories which we can do if that's what users want.

Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the reply. It would be useful to me, but obviously if there is no other demand i can see your reluctance. I had misread the new release notes and had assumed that the QPL was split like the index, so was just a little surprised that it wasn't. As there are now a few time double ups between SIS and TRP races having them split means I can run both in separate sheets with out doing a lot of manual sorting.

Thanks

Someone played on Grey Hound today with six-digit amount.
Betfair stopped all who left large amounts of £ 20000.
It took 2 hours for Betair to stop illegal games.
Does anyone know more about this?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
