basic trigger

Postby slochin » Mon May 13, 2019 2:45 pm

Hello,
A bit of a longshot, but I wonder if anyone can suggest why my trigger is not working without seeing the excel sheet.
=IF(AND(COUNT(T5:T60)=0,$AA$1="Yes",S5=5,),"BACK","")
in $AA$1
=IF(AND(E2="Not In Play",F2<>"Suspended",OR(D2=TIMEVALUE("00:01:00"),ISTEXT(D2))),"Yes","No")

5 is placed manually alongside the horse/s I want to back.

Am i reading this correctly that you are trying to place your selected BACK bet at exactly 1min pre official off time?
I've had issues in the past working with a specific time value from d2 as your refresh rate and/or connection rate may simply skip bast the specific time. I would use a range of a few seconds for the trigger to be live, rather than a set time.

Also, I presume the first formula is in the trigger column next to each horse. In which case I'm not sure why you would want all bet refs (i.e T5:T60) to be clear as opposed to just the specific bet reference for that runner.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
