I have set up a simple sheet that puts in a bet with offset of 2 ticks and stop loss of 1 tick, if the stop loss is activated then the sheet will repeat the process once more using the same bet amount as before,
Now looking at my results sheet this morning, i will assume the bet references indicate the correct order a bet was placed i see some bets like this.
195568170191 Fighting Temeraire B 0.00 0 CANCELLED
195568154085 Fighting Temeraire L -10.39 3.65 RESULT_LOST
195568112893 Fighting Temeraire B 0.00 0 CANCELLED
195568104565 Fighting Temeraire B 10.00 3.55 RESULT_WON
I can understand the sequence of events BACK @3.55 this should have created an offset LAY bet@3.45 so am not sure what the cancelled BACK bet is, the LAY bet was unsuccessful so the stop loss LAY@3.65 was activated, this is 2 ticks above the back price not 1, then because this generated a loss the sequence was started again but cancelled as went in play.
So a couple questions, do you know why there might have been a back bet set as an offset to a back bet?
To ensure i get a 2-1 ratio of winners to losers should i set my stop loss at less than half my tick offset, for example change it to 4-1
