US Racing Off Warnings

Postby lofcfan » Tue Mar 27, 2007 10:27 am

Anyone tell me where I can get accurate infomation on US racing off times on the internet i.e. whilst trading need to know that a race is about to start before it suspends.

Cheers

DRF and Brisnet both have tote boards which are fairly accurate. ESPN has a racing page which is also quite good ( and pictures for some meetings but delayed by a few minutes )

Yeah be careful on the US markets I had a race suspend on me 5 minutes early. It was settled before it was meant to start. Haven't touched the US markets since...

https://www.magnabet.com/MagnabetWeb/Ma ... AND=LANGEN

Magnabet (a German website I think), but English option

The 'Next Races' box (left hand side) is usually accurate and combined with Betfair is very useful for times of upcoming US Races, because it counts down in minutes as it regularly refreshes.

Basic cards for the races are available also.

You don't need to register, I think

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
