to have the monthly fee paid without a credit card
( i have enough funds on my paypal account ) and

I'm not sure I understand you.....
when you click on the link provided i.e. http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/pay_subscription.htm it takes you to a page where if you already have a PayPal account you enter your e-mail address and password and pay from funds in your PayPal account otherwise there is an option to pay using a debit or credit crad if you don't have a PayPal account.

yeah that´s exactly how it should work
and what i expected ...

i login via the link into my paypal account
and i end up with the
option of adding a credit card :(
if i cancel that i get another screen telling me
that i can either add a new bank account or
credit card but no option
to directly debit from my paypal account
which it actually should have done automatically

is there any other way to send the money
directly to your paypal account ?

anyways ill just keep on trying
and hope it will work later

You can make a payment directly to Gary's PayPal account by paying to his e-mail address gruss@blueyonder.co.uk, please quote your Betfair username when paying.

I just received an eMail from PayPal this morning telling me that my subscription to Gruss was cancelled.

I didn't cancel anything, so has something changed from Gruss' end?

Please forward a copy of the e-mail to admin@gruss-software.co.uk because we didn't cancel it either

Thanks,
Mark

I also received an email saying my subscription was cancelled - but it was on the same day as I changed my credit card details - I assumed that PayPal couldn't transfer a regular payment from one card to another maybe?

Most odd. My PayPal account is full so there should be no issue here. Also I am able to withdraw funds from the PayPal account as well so that worked this morning.

I have forwarded the eMail and, if need be, I will set up the subscription once more.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
