EXEL AND VISTA

Postby treehead » Sun May 20, 2007 10:53 am

Hello people,

I've bought a new PC that has vista basic on it, which runs Microsoft works which seems to be a version of excel.
When I press press log current prices I get 'excel not open' even though I have works is open. Has anyone got any ideas
cheers

The program is definitely not compatible with Microsoft Works, sorry. It looks like Excel, but it's only a cut down version. You need Microsoft Office.

thank you for your promt answer. Sorry about the spelling mistakes (I'm just not very clever sometimes)

JUST HAD A LOOK AT THE BETA VERSION FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT'S BLOWN MY MIND, WELL DONE GENTLEMEN.

Just one more question if I may.

If I click install for the beta version, it comes up then I use it, but can I download it to my computer so I dont have to keep downloading everytime?

Sorry, I hope these requests aren't giving you to much hassle, but me and technology dont get on some times.

cheers

You should be able to find the program in your start menu under Gruss Software, you can run it from there without downloading.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
