data extractor for MS office

Postby laffo16 » Sun Feb 03, 2008 5:46 pm

This is a simple proggy i made today, it extracts all data from sheet1 and stores it on sheet3, captures only horses below certain odds, timestamps each record, calculates and stores wom.

Seems a little slow going atm, plently of room for improvements, but its just the begining. Incase your a little worried about the genuinity of my efforts, i have been programming for severeal years, you can find alot of programming related posts over at the autoit forum.

this will probably not work openoffice, and i supspect their maybe trouble with office 2007, i suggest officexp, 2002 or 2003. but hey, its worth a try.

unsure what the problem maybe sjaak1943, i havent got round to testing the script on other machines yet. Has anyone else had this same error? currently im using xp pro sp-2 & ms office 2003. Until further testing on other machines has been done, i wont be releasing any undates. I have however on a good note, had the script running all day saturday for 6 minutes before the off of each race. if you would like a copy of the log email... Laffo16@hotmail.com

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
