Why is the delay when submitting bets and using BA 3 seconds but when using the website only 1 second?

Blimey - that was quick.
It shows in the black bar (red font) "This bet will be submitted in 3 secs (counts down until bet is placed) this delay is imposed by Betfair"
The delay isn't 3 seconds when using Betfair Trader, it seems to be the standard 1 second.

I've found out why - it is because the bet I was entering was below the £2 minimum.
I've just tried with a stake of £10 and the delay is 1 second.

Yes, it needs 3 transactions to place a bet below minimum because it uses the 'cheat' to get the bet on.
