Conditional Bets different question

Postby manager1 » Sun Mar 02, 2008 6:37 pm

Because of the new charges being implemented for excess calls, I used to have up to 10 pages (markets) open at once for conditional bets based on price fluctuations, but with a 30 second refresh rate.

My question is, do I need to have all these pages open for all these market conditional bets to be active?

I tried using one page and going from market to market, but it seems the previous conditional bet on the market is cancelled as soon as you navigate to the next market???

Also, I see you have maximum liability, is it possible to have the option to change stake to have a liability option as well?

Thanks.

Yes, they have to remain open. A more sophisticated auto betting facility will be available in a future release.

Re: Liability - do you mean like staking mode: liability, eg. odds 1.5, liability £100 therefore lay stake is £200?

Thanks for the reply Gary.

Yes, liability as in staking mode.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
