All stake not getting matched?

Postby pharlap1959 » Sun Jun 08, 2008 3:25 am

Hi all,

My excel sheet triggers very well at a set time, with lay spread odds of 1 to 20 to 1. If it partially gets set at say 12 to 1 it will not set the rest at anything over those odds when there is a market available below 20's.

Can anyone suggest a remedy.

Cheers

pharlap, if I am reading correctly is your problem due to the fact that if your bet is only partially matched that the bet reference is still shown on the sheet and therefore your trigger can't fire another bet?

As long as your lay bet is not LAY-F5 then surely the bet ref ends with "P". Code can be written that if the last character in the cell is "P" then clear the cells at a set time so that a new bet can be triggered.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
