Disappearing Betfair SP and Trades

Postby Fawltyrat » Mon Apr 04, 2011 8:29 am

Immediately after a race I often like to have a look at BF SP and last trades etc.In the new version of BA it all disappears very quickly. It is still gettable via the web using explorer etc till the race gets settled.

Is it possible to get BA to remember as it used to?

Are you talking about clicking on the runner and bringing up the graph screen? An extra button "Chart from betfair website" comes up once suspended so you can see last prices etc.

Got to admit it is slightly annoying compared to the previous versions as I use it quite6 a lot, I'd prefer it if rather than bringing up the "Chart from betfair website" button it automatically brought up that screen instead

I have finally got around to solving this problem. You no longer need the popup button. It will scrape the prices from the website when the market is suspended so the figures should remain at the end of a race. See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=33884

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
