Auto green up!

Discuss anything related to using the program (eg. triggered betting tactics)

Hi Gary :)

two questions if I may?

1) Any progress on whether this can be auto-set for every market or Excel trigger?

2) Have decided to ask if you can make it Close all positions even when
no bets are matched please? (i.e. automatically cancel unmatched anyway).
This seems a logical idea, do you agree?

As I have noticed that sometimes bets are matched afterwards
and then remain as taken (i.e. not closed) which can give unexpected and
often undesireable outcomes. Hope you get what I mean?

Thanks - Michael

Gary, I believe you are still working on a trigger, any chance we could have a negative time option as well.

So for example as I see it there might be two options:

Not In Play -10 would trigger 'Auto Close All' 10 seconds after the scheduled start time.

In Play -10 would trigger 'Auto Close All' 10 seconds after the race has gone In Play.

Thanks as always for your efforts. 8)

Hi Gary

Any chance of putting this option (auto green uo) available in the COM interface?

Probably a bit off topic - but it is possible to green up a race where the bets have previously been placed by the normal Betfair interface?

Yes, it doesn't matter how they were placed.

When I try to download using the link at the beginning of the thread, I get 'File or directory not found'.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
