Struggling to get any bets placed in the AUS markets, constant API errors etc...Is it just me?

Can you describe what errors you get? I Also had a problem yesterday as Gruss software froze on the Southwell 16.10 race. This week I have lost two half days of racing as Gruss kept freezing and on one occasion (Last Saturday) the UK and Ireland markets just would not load and my balance kept disappearing :!:

Hi
I gave up in the early hours of this morning, but trying it later today it's all back to normal.
I didn't have problems with the US racing, it was just AUS races. Bets were not being placed resulting in pending for ages to eventually getting an API error.

Cheers

Hi,

I believe that the API errors were a result of the Australian API server not working correctly at the time.

Hi, if this happens again, is there a way for us to check if an API server is running or not?

Over the last five days this problem has reared it's ugly head again :!: The Gruss interface freezes and so does my bot. I have shut down and looked at event viewer which shows a warning and reads:

Name resolution for the name api.betfair.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

I guessed it could be a problem with my internet provider. I reported the problem and they say they cannot see a problem with my connection :!:

I am on the UK and Ireland markets only

Any ideas please :?:

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
