over/under goals market help

Postby bricklayer » Tue Aug 04, 2015 11:38 am

Hi,
I was wondering the best way to work with the over/under goals market.
I would like to load all UK Saturday matches on this market and place bets on the 3.00pm games.
I would also like to add some conditions to the bets and exit the trade if these conditions are met.

Can Betting Assistant do this direct from the software interface or would I need to add excel.

Tia.

I think you need Excel because you have two inputs for your model, time, that you are going to use to filter the universe of games that you are going to trade and price (odds), for your entry and exit trades. I think conditional betting doesn't filter markets. If you choose your markets by manually then maybe you can do it on the conditional betting (it depends on the strategy) but i advise you to learn/use the Excel features because they give a lot more versatility.

Thanks for the reply.
Your right the problem is due to the amount individual games within the o/u market all kicking off at the same time.
I'm just getting back into BA after a while and im a bit lost with this.
Cheers

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
