can someone point me to a race where the second and the third horse were deadhead?
one clear winner, the other two pass the finishing line at the same time where bf paid three places

Not sure where you'd find races like that, might help if you gave an idea why you wanted the info? A settlement dispute?

Betfair would just settle as normal in those circumstances only time dead heat rules would apply to the place market is on occasions where say the 3rd and 4th had dead heated. Here's a list of recent races where that situation occurred

Thanks Captain
I'm trying to get "correctly" the daily results from racingpost without having to download bf's results from here
https://promo.betfair.com/betfairsp/prices/
because they are available the next day
It looks clearer now that in racingpost if two horses are dh it will name them both ie 5th taking the smallest number of their positions in the race, the number just after the clear first ie 4 horses. The horse next to these two dhs will be named 7th
Can you find a race where bf paid 3 horses, there ware non runners so bookies paid 2 places and there was dh between the 3rd and 4th horse?
Logically bf paid for the place fully the first two horses, half the next two
I want to know what place (number) racingpost gave them in its results at this case
logically it would be 1, 2, 3, 3, 5 ..... despite the fact that racingpost shows in placing position those that are paid from bookies and not pf

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
