Split the profit only to two outcomes

Postby gruss-online » Sun Dec 27, 2015 1:49 pm

Let's say I'm trading Lay the Draw and a goal comes.

Instead of cash out and have the same profit on all 3 outcomes, can I split the profit into the home team and the draw and leave a loss on the away team?

For example, home team scores and the score is 1-0. I want to have a profit if home team wins or the match end draw, and have a lose if the away team manage to score two goals.

Does BA have this feature?

There are no specific BA options to leave one outcome at a loss but it all depends on what your book is showing when you want to balance up if you can do it with one click.

If you hover your mouse over the green Level Profit column it'll give you the various outcomes of clicking that button so if the only profit is on the Draw and Home & Away both red clicking it on the Home selection would send a bet to try and level it with the green on the Draw leaving the Away as the only red.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
