When we make the Paypal link available you wont even need a Paypal account to pay your subscription automatically, just a debit or credit card. Can you advise what your objection is to this.

thanks
Gary

We can only accept 1 account per subscription otherwise we have no way of enforcing the subscription, the option is not available to us on Betfair's server.

If we accepted multiple accounts per subscription there is nothing to prevent someone claiming to have 10 accounts and paying 1 subscription for himself and 9 friends. I'm not accusing anyone of considering this though

I don't see a problem with this. I will open an account and let you know the email address to send money to. It doesn't look like we can set up an automated monthly collection so you will have to send the money yourself each month.

The subscription will be collected monthly for the time being.....we will no doubt offer a discounted annual subscription at a later date

Didn't necessarily want any discount - just wanted to pay £60 and forget about it.

Hi Gary
I'm with Ian on this one, just want to pay and forget.
I have a Paypal account so it won't be a problem for me. However I would warn you to be careful, I have had problems dealing with Paypal in the past. In my case their customer support was the poorest I had ever come across by a huge margin. I did a search on the net and have to confess what I found was scary. Why not just allow payment with the major credit cards?
best regards
Paul

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
