I make my living using bet fair so subscribe to ruk but I'm sure I could survive using the bet fair video feeds as there's no real difference between times sometimes the feeds are ahead sometimes behind.

I just use the TV for convenience, really it's your own decision as to whether the cost is worth it and that'll mainly depend on why you use it. I trade so need to see how horses are behaving at the post etc and certainly wouldn't make as much if I didn't have it.

I find the video too small for RUK tracks. Are you able to increase the size of the picture Captain?

I use the TV feeds for convienience bu as I don't bet manually in running I'd only really use the pics to look for runners playing up,non runners and the off time so sure I could live with the smaller pics. All depends on how you bet as to what you need, if I bet in running I'd probably look to get the fastest feeds and that probably means looking at a dish for the raw feeds

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
