Simple excel formula question

Postby codis » Sat Sep 03, 2016 10:49 pm

Hi folks,
i have the cell Y5 that contains BSP and currently my trigger fires if BSP is equal to or more than 2.02

IF(AND($Z$2="In Play",$AA$1>5,T5="",Y5>=2.02)

It works fine but trying to adjust so that it fires when BSP is between equal to or more than 2.02, and equal to or less than 10.00

Does this make sense?
IF(AND($Z$2="In Play",$AA$1>5,T5="",Y5<=10.00,Y5>=2.02)

Thank you,
Alex

Yeah that will work although I'm not sure why you have "In Play" at $Z$2 though.I like to also include $F$2 <>"Suspended" also (or wherever you have $F$2 placed).

Thanks for that brumbie will test it tomorrow. I'm not sure about the $Z$2 either, I didn't write the sheet so trying to learn excel whilst deciphering it myself!

Yeh just worked out what that part does, weirdly E2 and Z2 both display race status so either works.
Thanks for your replies brumbie testing this afternoon.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
