BETFAIR LIVE VIDEO

Postby KANG » Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:04 pm

Because Betfair live video is now completely unreliable, has anyone found a more reliable alternative?
I have tried bet 365 live feed, which seems slightly quicker on average than betfair , but that too can slow down during a race, which is even more
dangerous than betfair, beacause it doesnt stutter so much like betfair, so there is no warning!
It seems to me it could be the picture suppliers from the track, if that is the case there is no way around it.

I think you're right about the source of the problem being the picture feed from the tracks Kang, rather than Betfair and bet365. Other bookmakers' streams have been similarly affected too.

If you want reliable pictures, I don't think there's a realistic option other than to subscribe to RUK and forget about in-running from ATR tracks, unless the live Betfair videos are having an increasingly rare good day.

ATR by satellite or online subscription is hopeless, as I'm sure you'll be aware.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
