Quick Pick atricious weather coincidence

Postby GRUSSZOOM » Fri Mar 02, 2018 2:48 am

Hi Mark - I'm going to take a bit of licence here to explain what probably happened. I was very busy trying to find reasons why UK Greyhounds would not load into Quick Pick List. As I said I uninstalled and reinstalled Betting Assistant about 10 times not knowing that you 'Poms' (can I use that term these days ?) were enjoying 0 degrees C while I sit here obliviously enjoying an average of 27 degrees C. On top of that another forumite is telling me that they do in fact load which added to the confusion. I even rang Betfair Australia to ask them if they were still allowing Aussies to bet on Uk greyhounds or had they changed their release of data to 3rd party apps. He had not heard of Gruss Betting Assistant - what can I say ? Anyhow he said no, there had been no changes. I have reinstalled Betting Assistant and I noticed that UK Greyhounds quick pick is loading but it may all be in vain. It looks like you guys are going through a period which an Aussie would describe as "a bit cool at the moment ". kind regards, Zoom.

Hi,

Yes indeed a coincidence that there were no markets to load because the meetings had all been called off.

Pretty bad weather here right now with some parts of country having red weather warning which is not very common at all.

Roll on the summer.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
