auto refresh of markets

Postby aussielong » Thu Mar 08, 2018 10:11 am

I have a bot program written in VBA that imports bets from a spreadsheet.

I load about 10 races at a time and it cycles through them and rests on the next race when we are about 5 minutes from the jump.
after the 10 races, a new batch is loaded.
GRUSS then cycles back through the opening race that it may have loaded up 60 minutes ago,
this can take about 5+ minutes.

is there any way I can get in to just go back about 10 minutes and cycle through them rather than right back to the opening of the day.

I can do it manually by pressing " refresh" on the top LHS but I was wondering if there was a command in VBA that can be used.

thanking everybody

cheers

You could possibly use VB to grab a specific market Id of around 10 mins prior (say last but one market maybe) of each batch you load, then use the Go: xxxxx in cell Q2 to go back to it

have a look at the help guide to use this for Q2 cell

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
