Quick stake change

Postby PennyFiddler » Sat Jul 14, 2018 9:33 am

Hello,

For a while I have needed to change stakes quickly during events while using BA on betfair, using the standard grid interface.
I have looked but have not found how this might be possible.
There are ofcourse standard presets (6 boxes for back, 6 for lay) but you physically have to move the mouse upto the box and back to where you were.
If you want to change the stake IR for example a number of times its counter productive.

Im thinking more on the lines of a simple assigned key press, so the mouse doesnt need to be moved or you even need to be looking at the area of the screen.

I know there's a possible work around by setting up custom columns, but again this defeats the object as each column adds real estate meaning you have to 'find' the area you need to click in a fast moving environment where the moment could have passed.

I would appreciate if anyone could show me if Im missing something and there is an easy way of doing it.
Thanks.

Just to add, Ive just found that using the Ladder interface actually has this under Hotkey Preferences that you activate.
QWEASD keys correspond to the stakes in those boxes.....yet you cant do it in grid interface?
Why?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
