How to stop backing at 1000

Postby mixer456 » Mon Jul 23, 2018 3:08 pm

I am new to using gruss so i'm sure somone can help me with this.
When i attempt to back all runners in any race at say 100(keep in play) for less than the betfair min stake it allows me to do so. however if there is already a horse at 1000 it backs that at 2 pound stake not at the stake i pick. how do i stop this occurring?
in simple terms i back all horses at 100 for 1 pound before the off with keep in play tab clicked. if one of these horses is priced at the max 1000 it backs that using the 2 pound min irregardless of the stake i set.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Are you using the newer version of Betting Assistant, betfair changed the rules on the API to allow bets below £2 as long as they're £10 liability, I'm sure the newer versions are coded to take that into account.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
