Alt Level Profit

Postby Mr Frisk » Tue Jul 24, 2018 4:20 am

Hello,

There seems to be an issue with the Alt Level Profit column in the latest version 1.3.0.38y14.

If i place a lay bet and then click on the Alt Level Profit column, instead of placing a back bet to level up, the program wrongly places another lay bet increasing the liability.

The program works fine if the original bet is a back bet, clicking the Alt level Profit column the program correctly places a lay bet to level up.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Hi,

I've tested the scenario you mention, i.e. initial lay bet and then clicking on alt level profit and I'm getting a back bet submitted as expected.

Can you email admin@gruss-software.co.uk

Thanks,
Mark

The issue seems to be related to my own personal settings for some reason. I have uninstalled the program and deleted all the Gruss folders in Windows and then reinstalled the program and everything works fine.

If I then restore my settings folder the issue returns. It looks like I am going to have to reset all my settings. Once I have done that if the issue persists I will email you.

Thanks very much for your help.

I have uncovered the issue. I have a custom column enabled that is set to level profit at a fixed price. If i disable that particular column then the alt level profit column works as normal. If I enable it again the program starts placing another lay bet again.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
