Soccer: Trigger bets not taken

Postby dealbanker » Mon Dec 17, 2018 3:13 am

Hello

I have a feeling I may have upset my settings or perhaps something has changed at BF??...

The past 2 days I have found that I can not trigger a bet in the soccer markets when the game is In Play. "Bet No Accepted" every time - no matter if I submit below the minimum bet or above the minimum. The only time I can trigger a bet is before the off.

The error log states that the excel thread is busy for all wager attempts

Anyone have any clues where I should look next?

cheers

Are they being submitted as BSP bets? Can you submit them manually in play via the program?

Thanks for responding Captain but have not tried that and not willing to risk the wagers manually. Instead I have attached a shot of the error file for this morning because since my original post, I now can not submit a < minimum bet. Supposedly due to insufficient funds and/or exposure, which is not true.

I have now reinstalled BA this morning but still the same inability to trigger bet in play or below minimum bets

cheers

Without knowing if you're able to bet manually via the app during in play it's hard to know if it's due to an error in the trigger or a Betfair restriction. I'm afraid I have no idea what the excel error log means and you'll probably have to contact Gary/Mark via email regarding those.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
