BA freezing

Postby octobergirl » Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:48 pm

Any suggestion as to why BA is freezing and not moving to next race as per setting. This is on greyhound markets.

Sorry I am not aware of any outstanding freezing issues.

Do you mean the application freezes and has to be closed with the task manager or does not move to the next market, but remains responsive?

Which exact setting are you using?

Does this happen every time? Can you provide steps to replicate this problem?

Thanks for reply.
This is spmething that has happened very occasionally in the past, but now every day.
Sometimes it unfreezes itself when it feels like it,other times it is completely unresponsive
and i have to shut it down,
I am backing or laying at 0.5 or 0.3 minutes to schedule off times ,on different profiles.

Thinking that possibly a sheet i was using was causing the problem,i have made copies of a sheet i am using today
where there has been no problem today, and everything is working fine at the moment.

A formula on various sheets was creating a circular reference
these have now been removed and everything is now fine.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
