Auto load market

Postby Bezza » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:50 am

As you will all know most races start up to 8-10mins after the advertised start and I think its quite safe to say none start before at least 5mins.So here is my problem;I have a auto lay sys which will lay fav's if predetirmind conditions are met, however,at the moment I have the auto select set to join the market "at the advertised start time" where the bet would be struck immediatly if the conditions are met. What I would like to do is to hold off until 5 mins after the start time when the market is more mature and the amount of money matched is approaching its zenith. All my attempts so far have been in vain. The ability to enter a negative value in the auto load market would be the answer I guess but as this is a trading programme I don't suppose it would be a priority.Does any one know how I can achieve this in excel?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
