Races after midnight

Postby Candles » Fri Apr 03, 2009 1:30 pm

Hi,

Right now I’m not able to see any UK horse race that is running after 5pm London time. 5pm equates to midnight my time – Western Australia, Australia. Betfair adjusts all race times to my time zone. Right now (Friday 8.30pm in Western Australia, Australia, Friday 1.30pm in London) I cannot see the following races which run on Friday after 5pm London time. All times quoted are in Western Australian time.
· Last race at Aintree (which runs at 00.30am on Saturday)
· Last race at Bath (which runs at 00.05 am on Saturday)
· Last two races at Musselburgh (which run at 00.15am and 00.45 respectively)
· All races at Wolverhampton (all of which run on Saturday)

Is there a setting in Betting Assistant that I’ve missed?

Cheers
Candles

Yes. Open the program preferences and untick "Only load today's events" under the Quick Pick List preferences.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
