Deleting Closed Markets from Quick Pick List

Postby negapo » Sat Apr 11, 2009 5:28 pm

Is there any way from deleting a market from the quick pick list in excel or through the com?
I load some markets in the quick pick list and them start to look for some conditions looping through the markets. I wanted to delete markets that have already closed or that don't meet some criteria. I simple -7 in Q2 type of command will do it but i don't know if there is already a way of doing that. Thanks in advanced for any help.

Is it possible to implement this ?
There is currently the possibility to load markets (horses and greyhounds), to navigate through the markets, i think it would be great to have the option to delete markets.

The reason is there are some conditions in the market that never change, like the market is closed, doesn't go live, it's live already, the runners as less than x, and maybe others. If a strategy depends on one of these criteria and it isn't met you can delete that market.

A good suggestion and should be simple to implement. I'll try and get it into the next release.

I have added the -8 trigger to delete the currently selected market from the quick pick list. Download pre-release version 1.1.0.63 using the link below.

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... _Beta1.msi

Note: When the market is deleted the next market in the list will be selected. If the deleted market is the last market in the list then the previous market will be selected.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
