I have my stake mode set at liability however, after downloading the latest update if I lay the field it no longer keeps my stake to my maximum liability but uses my liability amount as my stake therefore increasing my possible payout.
any help would be appreciated.

Imagine laying the field at 1.01 for £100 with the the staking mode set to liability because you have been using this feature to place bets by clicking on the grid. You might expect your liability to be £1 to win £100, but it would be £100 to win £10000. I think that is too dangerous so the lay field feature is no longer affected by the staking mode. You will now need to enter the appropriate stake to the lay field at.
