Loading multiple meetings on one tab

Postby eclipse » Sat May 23, 2009 10:02 am

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me, I currently open each horse race meeting in seperate tabs in BA and each meeting is linked to a separate worksheet in one Exel file. Is there any way to quickly add more than one meeting to each tab (say an afternoon meet and an evening meet)? Because I didn't want to make my Excel sheet too big I have 5 available wookbooks but as we now have evening meetings I have to set up the evening meetings once the afternoon meetings have finished. Or can I link more than one tab to one worksheet without it causing conflicts? Any advice is much appreciated.

You can find the meeting on the market tree and drag the meeting, eg. drag "Hayd 23rd May" to the quick pick list. Unfortunately this includes the place markets so you will need to select each place market in the quick pick list and use the delete key to remove them afterwards. You could also just drag each race from the market tree, six or seven drags would only take a few seconds. Unfortunately there isn't anything quicker available.

Thanks for the quick reply Gary, didn't realise I could just drag them across like that, you live and learn, many thanks again.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
