Using BACK-T1 trigger

Postby MatG » Thu May 28, 2009 10:19 pm

If I am using Excel and choose to BACK a selection at (for arguments sake) 2.54 with a stake of £10, I then want it be able to LAY it at a lower price with a different stake. So say I wanted to LAY it at 2.48 with a stake of £10.24 after the BACK bet had taken, how would I do this?

I am using £10.24 as the lay stake as if the selection wins, I get 24p profit from the back bet and if the selection loses, the lay bet gets me 24p profit.

I know BACK-T3 exists as a trigger, but will that use the same values for price and stake?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mat

Mat,

To auto level the profit use BACK-TL3

if you want to learn more about the triggers see the help in B.A. or this topic wich as newer triggers. Hope it helps.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
