Hello Gary Mark All,

I have been really busy of late and it’s been a while since being on the forum or even updating my Gruss software.

I am currently running version 1.1.0.39 and have 4 different user profiles set up on it, obviously I have no issues at all, neither have I had with this version, (Its brill) but this morning I thought I would do an upgrade to the latest version. The trouble is when I download the latest version from this link > http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3512 its installing the latest Gruss ok, but it’s a completely new Assistant, ie all my settings/user profiles have gone.
So not having much time on my hands right now to set it all back up I have just done a “system restore”.

Is it possible to download the latest version without losing all your settings & user profiles? (I’m sure I used to)
And secondly, is there any plans to re-introduce an auto updater?

Unfortunately you cannot retain your settings from the version you are using. It will retain the settings from the latest version onwards though.

We will be re-instating the auto updater in the future, we just have a few issues to resolve with it first.

Thanks Gary, I will leave the update till I have a couple of spare hours.

It’s amazing how reliant I have become on the “user profiles” for different markets, and how quickly I have forgotten all the subtle changes and exactly how to change them
