Excel help

Hi there, i was wondering if anyone can help me with excel formula, i am trying to add a formula in my trigger as part of if condition, where if Ranking order changed 1 to 2. so i am trying to write if the order in a ranking cell changes from 1 to 2 or vies versal , i tried to find function in excel but not savy enough. Please help if it is possible. Thanks
