excel on a vps

Hi,
Just hired a vps and spent many hours trying to install Excel 2010 (Home & Student) following suggestions and help on this forum. It should be easy but I'm having no success. The vps server is Windows 2012 R2 (standard 64bit).

Any further help from anyone who has succeeded in installing their own version of Excel would be much appreciated.
