quick pick list not working with place markets

Postby AllGreen1 » Sat Sep 16, 2017 7:02 am

Since earlier this week my quick pick list won't load place markets. I thought it may have been just the version I was using (38j) so I reverted back to 37a but they still won't load.

I have been loading them to cell A40 with the win market connected to A1 so tried loading the place markets to individual sheets but still won't work.

Strangely, this seems to have coincided with other problems. One day Gruss froze (Tues or Wed?) and I can't remember the last time this has happened.

Also, as you can see below, the last four fields in the results sheet are no longer being filled?

Thanks for the reply. I can understand problems with the beta versions under development but I wouldn't expect problems with the 'approved' version being offered to potential customers for download?

note - i am not a new customer, have run BA for years.

Get home from work today and problem has re-occurred - place markets not loading.

Is no one else having a similar problem?

Hi,

Please check in Preferences as you may have them excluded.

So in Preferences under the "Quick Pick List / markets" settings there is an option to exclude horse racing place markets.

If the option is ticked then untick it and save the change.

Then you will need to click on the "Refresh" button above the Market Tree to reload the Markets and then you will be able to add them to the Quick Pick List.

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
