Spreadsheet connection issues

Postby Ferru123 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 5:17 pm

Sometimes I have to click refresh loads of times to connect Gruss with a spreadsheet, as shown in the screenshot - should this be happening?

Also, I've found today that sometimes a spreadsheet 'drops out' - it's showing as being connected, but it's not refreshing. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Thanks

Jeff

I have found this too, usually if I have a lot of tabs open and updating my workbook. My solution is to slow down the update intervals, and when I have all the tabs in BA connecting decrease the update interval back to what it was. I have always assumed that I was asking too much of the system and it seldom happened so I just let it go, but I am very interested in any responses/advice/fixes - best regards Paul

Yep same for me if I have more than 3 sheets open generally. Can take several refreshes to “find” the available workbook / sheets.

Been meaning to start a thread on this for a while now so glad someone else has got round to it. Would be interested as to any solutions and also if it’s possible to auto link each day using VBA - and how this works when one day has more meetings than others.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
