Download from http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... ublish.htm

The program now requires .Net framework version 2
The Beta version will be installed separately from the official release so you can test new features without losing access to the official release.

New features.

1. Stop loss with optional sliding stop loss
2. Click on centre of ladder to centre prices in ladder
3. Click on blue and pink columns in ladder to place bets (these columns were not previously active)
4. Click on selection name in ladder to select (previously only available from drop down list)
5. The last price matched on the ladder is highlighted in red when odds are decreasing and green when increasing.
6. 2 new columns on ladder interface: Last price matched and total matched
7. 2 new columns on ladder to indicate where stop loss and tick offset bets will be placed (blue for tick offset and red for stop loss)
8. Stake selection buttons on ladder interface (single click to choose stake, double click to set stake)
9. Net stake button on ladder interface (the stake is simply the last stake matched for the current selection)

Stop Loss
Set the tick offset at the desired number of ticks. If you back at 3.55 with a tick offset of 1 then the stop loss will be set at 3.6,
if the best back price reaches 3.6 then a lay bet will be placed at odds of 3.65 (1 tick higher to ensure matched, if it doesn't get matched then change the odds manually).
If you tick 'Sliding' then if the market goes your way the stop loss moves down also (ie. if the best back prices goes down to 3.5 then the stop loss goes down to 3.55)
If you use stop loss in conjunction with the tick offset feature then if the tick offset is fired the stop loss is cancelled.
You can also cancel the stop loss by using the 'Cancel' button next to the stop loss options.
The stop loss bet will not be placed if the odds go too far in the wrong direction (ie. price doubles or price halves) as you could end up with more liability
than originally.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
