1. Fixed bug where not all markets visible in coupon view when many markets displayed (eg. Saturday soccer coupon).

2. Fixed bug where COM function getAllMarketTradedVolume function does not return empty object when no data available. Instead it returns an empty generic object.

3. Fixed bug where “My active markets” coupon requests are incorrectly throttled. This reduces the refresh rate until the application is restarted.

4. Fixed bug where same market displayed on multiple tabs will cause refresh to fail on a tab other than the first when “Show place markets” selected.

5. Fixed bug where cross matching not always applied to markets opened with COM function openMarket()

6. When using Excel quick link it will now ignore missing files instead of stopping at the first file that is not found.

7. Bets placed via COM interface that are not placed asynchronously freeze the application while the bet is being placed. They are now processed in a background thread to prevent this.

8. Added auto close all positions function. Right click the auto close button to set the number of seconds prior to the start of the event to auto close. At the specified time it will behave as if you have clicked the close all positions button. If bets are unmatched it will attempt to auto close again and repeat until matched.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
