Help with triggered betting commands

Postby Al See » Fri Jan 06, 2012 12:37 pm

Hi,

I'm just coming back to the software after an absence of a few years and I'm struggling to get my head around the trigger commands and order and again.

If I want to place a back bet at SP and then automatically trigger an in-running lay at 50% of odds matched to the same stake, what is the command sequence? In other words I'm looking to recover my initial stake if the odds half in running. So if I back £10 at SP (let's say SP is 19.0) then I want to trigger an in running lay for £10 at 10.0.

Is it something like: Back-SP-P50-IP

Thanks for your help guys.

-IP and -SP cannot be used together. The trigger should be as follows.

BACK-P50-SP

Make sure you request higher odds than will be matched before the off to ensure it is matched at SP at the off.

It must have been answered elsewhere but I don't find it.

trigger BACK-F10

If there is a part of the bet that is unmatched after the 10sec, will this part be cancelled?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
