This is now fixed. It was a bug, not a Betfair issue.

Irish races are displaying the silks in version 1.3.0.1. I uploaded this morning to https://www.gruss1-software.co.uk/Betti ... istant.msi

I'll look into the other countries.

[quote="roi71"]because when it appears for example 1.65, it seems that .... 165, it is easy to get confused during fast scalping... immagine for a scalper that trade on odds over 20 for example... or think about for in-running trading... Please get an option that don't show 2 or under 2. THX

Ive been using the new API for a few days now and i have to say so far im not too impressed,
it's been very laggy and often freezes and generally seems to be performing poorly,

Im not blaming Gruss btw, im sure it's Betfairs issue, but i was just wondering if other had experianced the same ?.
Another Betfair upgrade thats actually turns into a downgrade short term.

Hi,

Other users have reported a similar experience but nevertheless we mush push forward and continue asking users to move on to the new API version as far as we know Betfair will switch off the old API on 10-Nov-2014.
I just hope they fix these performance issues.

Regards,
MArk

AUS races dont load at 1.3.05 - not even the cricket races -
I guess it has to do with the aus server not recognizing the NG API?
Anyone have the same problem?

I reinstalled the 85n version and works fine ( I still can log in )

I have no problems with loading the Australian markets. This morning I placed some bets for horse racing using a spreadsheet. Everything worked fine.
Did you tick "include australian markets" in the preferences for the Quick Pick List?
I am using versdion 1.3.0.6.

no success with the 1.3.07
I can see and pick the aus races from the tree but the tab is remaining blank.
Restarted windows / new BA installation with no luck.

It must have to to with the pc/installation because another account/pc has access at these markets.
But why only the aus markets and not the other markets?

Not unusual for them to cock up the AUS stuff to be honest, seems they switched off the old API6 at 7.00 from my bots. Which ones are you loading mine seems fine? Is your clock correct?

I agree that they switched api at around 7.00

Strange with windows / programs is that now ba is working fine,
I was loading markets in ba - the aus with no success - and suddenly it fixed itself
Restarted ba a couple of times from then and it seems to be working ok now

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
