New Betdaq Version released

Postby MarkRussell » Thu May 21, 2015 11:22 am

Hi,

Over the last few months Gary has been hard at work updating the Betdaq version so that it has all the same functionality as our Betfair version.
He as not been able to include absolutely everything because of the differences in their API.
But Betdaq have made some improvements to their API and the new version now includes traded volume in the Ladder Interface.
Download the new version from our downloads page:-
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/downloads.asp
Whilst we have thoroughly tested this new version, because there have been so many changes made please treat it as a Beta version until we are satisfied that it is bug free.
The User Guide still needs to be updated but it is virtually the same as our Betfair version so you can refer to that User Guide in the meantime.

Regards,
Mark

Hi.
The place market is listed before the Win Market - is this intentional or a bug? I already had a nasty error because of this!

Hiya ..

I just stumbled across this new release ..

Trying to add profiles, and, it resolutely refuses to save them.

Is this just me ?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
